We can pretty well imagine how Homer must have dreamed up the myth of dangerous sirens who lured sailors to their death on the sharp rocks. It's all symbolism, really. Probably Homer walked each day from his house to the store to get some fresh juice or some morning pastry. On his way to the store must have been a private bathing area ran by some notorious brothel owner. Outside the bathing area must have been some of the most lovely women in Homer's town.
 
We can see Homer walking by each day checking out the lovely women. They would beckon every man who passed to come in and take a private bath with them.
 
Homer, who probably had a girl friend, as did most of the other men in the town, would get in a heap of trouble if they entered the brothel. Nonetheless, Homer and his friends managed to sneak in every once in awhile at great risk. If one of them got caught by their girl friend or wife, they would definitely be in danger. After all, women in ancient times would just as soon cut off a man's member while he slept then to put up with any infidelity. Well, you know how it is, we here on Foxes.com do take a little liberty with history.
 
Anyway, whatever the reason behind Homer's account of dangerous and seductive sirens, we were reminded of that story when we photographed this set of Sofia. Here she was in this scanty little chain link thing sitting at a pool complete with sharp rocks in the background. Smiling and teasing with the sun beating down she could have easily lured any sailor passing by to give up his ship and lose his fate to the sharp rocks.
 
So here we are in front of our computers -- all safe in our homes -- with no rocks or anything to cause us any problems. Still, we've got to be a little careful, don't you think? In case you don't live alone, you probably would prefer lusting after Sofia without your girl friend or wife checking you out. So, please, be careful; but definitely take your time with these photos.
